Spox: Russia must treat EU countries equally when lifting food ban

BRUSSELS, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Russia must have an equal approach to European countries while lifting its embargo on food imports, a spokesman for the European Commission told reporters Tuesday.

“The possible future bilateral agreements between any E.U. country and Russia on food are hypothetic now, and we do not comment on them. We are just insisting on our position – the rule of equal treatment of all E.U. countries must be applied, and all E.U. countries must have a one voice in talks with trade partners, including Russia,” the spokesman said.
